Welcome to Betsey's Blooms. I became a florist in 2003. Since then, I've gained extensive experience in both London and New York. I've been told that I'm an outstanding florist – check out my testimonials!

I create elegant and sophisticated displays, through a deep knowledge of flowers and foliage, with skillful artistry. I'll bring life to your ideas!

Born and raised in Galloway, I came home to South West Scotland in 2017 and launched my Betsey's Blooms website in Autumn the following year. My local area offers ongoing inspiration through ethereal light, glorious colour and endless scenery. Each season suggests so many different colours, shapes, textures and fragrances for arrangements which can lift every setting. Spring offers so much variety and I particularly love the foliage and colours throughout Autumn.

No matter what the season, flowers enhance the quality of our lives – evoking a sense of calm or creating a mood of indulgence. I aim to offer a refreshing approach to floristry, whatever your occasion.

I specialise in weddings – offering truly exquisite arrangements - and also have extensive experience with events, shop work and weekly contracts. We also offer seasonal workshops at various locations in D&G. I'm always excited about new opportunities and am happy to travel wherever commissions take me.

I have collaborated with a number of prestigious florists, including Jane Wadham Flowers and Rob Van Heldon, working on projects as wide ranging as events at the Old Bailey to Elton John’s White Tie and Tiara Ball. I am also a regular ‘behind the scenes’ at Chelsea Flower Show.

I am keen to provide an ethical service and reduce carbon footprint using as local growers wherever possible.
